Sourdough Banana Pancakes
An easy and delicious way to use your discarded sourdough starter.

Ingredients

cup
sourdough starter
1
banana
mashed up
1
egg
1
tbsp
melted butter or coconut oil
1
tbsp
honey
or other natural sweetener
Dash
vanilla
Dash
banana extract
optional
1/2
tsp
baking soda
Instructions
Combine the sourdough starter, mushy banana, egg, oil, honey, and extracts, if using. Mix everything except the baking soda.
Heat your griddle/skillet and lightly spray with coconut oil spray.
When the griddle is heated, add the baking soda to the batter mixture. The batter will fluff up!
Scoop or pour out your desired amount of batter into the griddle.
Once the pancake starts to bubble, flip it and cook on the other side for another minute or two.
