Baked Brie with Fig Spread
A festive side dish to serve with your favorite crusty bread or crackers. Don't wait to be festive though...enjoy this anytime!
- 8 oz round Brie cheese I got my baking brie from Aldi
- 10 oz jar fig spread or any other fruit spread you want
- 1/4-1/2 cup pecans
- Crackers or crusty bread to serve
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a small cast iron skillet, or other baking dish, spray a light coating of coconut oil spray.
Gently scrape the top rind of the brie, not cutting too deep.
Set the brie into the skillet, or other dish.
Pour the fruit spread on top of the brie.
Cook for 15-20 minutes. The cheese should retain somewhat of a round form.
Take it out of the oven, and immediately sprinkle the pecans on top.
Serve with crackers or bread.
