Feta Italian Meatballs
(THM-S, low carb, gluten free friendly)
- 2 lb ground pork you could use beef or even turkey
- 1 tsp each salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c Feta cheese crumbles big pieces broken up
- 1 tbsp oats or THM Baking Blend, or almond flour
Optional during cooking
- 1 cup water
- squirt liquid aminos or soy sauce
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
Roll into small balls, about golf ball size and place on a baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Remove the tray, and add the water with the liquid aminos if desired.
Turn the oven down to 375 degrees and bake for another 25 minutes.
Pair the meatballs with Tomato Sauce and pasta of choice.
