Sweet and Savory Pork Tenderloin with Apples

A moist and flavorful way to cook pork tenderloin (or chops!) that will please the whole family.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pork tenderloin cut or 4-6 individual pork chops
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp Herb de Provence
  • 2 Apples cored and sliced
  • 1/4 cup water or broth
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup 100% pure Maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt the olive oil and butter together in your Dutch oven.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper generously over both sides of the pork.
  • Add the pork to the Dutch oven, and sear both sides, until browned.
  • Turn off the heat. Add apples, and all the rest of the ingredients.
  • Cover the Dutch oven, and place it in the oven.
  • Cook for 45 minutes to an hour, checking for doneness at 45 minutes. Continue cooking if needed.
  • Enjoy!
